The Jeruzalem Ormož SAT d.d. company is a public limited company owned by the employees, former employees and retired employees.

Its beginnings date back to the post-war period; however since then the company has changed its organizational structure at different times and according to the production needs. It is a medium-sized company and as such it ensures employment for 75 people.

Today’s company structure is based on the profit centres allocated to the individual activities, which enables effective monitoring of processes and their production and financial impact.

However, its core activities and production represent the biggest share of its its business. These are:

• PC agriculture with its plant production (wheat, corn, rapeseed, pumpkin type Cucurbita pepo var. styriaca – golica, hops, and garden vegetables).

• PC Feed Mill includes the production of feed mixes for livestock production, the reception, storage and sale of raw materials from its own agricultural production or production from contractual partners or from the purchase of products for the needs of the feed mill or further sale of surplus amounts on the domestic market.

• PC Oil Mill annual production amounts to 150,000 litres of pumpkin seed oil which is successfully sold in domestic as well as foreign markets. The traditional production of pumpkin seed oil at the Oil Mill, Središče ob Dravi is nearing its centennial, from humble beginnings in the Vargaz mill to the contemporary way of pumpkin seed oil production without losing the basic elements of the traditional roasting and pressing of this enjoyable, aromatic liquid.
  Pumpkin seed oil is not merely an additional condiment used in cooking, it is versatile and widely used for medicinal purposes and as a culinary speciality. We strive to present these advantages to our existing and potential customers by organising promotions, tours of the oil mill and tastings of the delicacies prepared by our associates in the Oil Mill in Središče ob Dravi.

• PC Farma includes fattening pigs for their contractual partner Farma Ihan d.d., which has resulted in a synergy between the feed mill and the agricultural production, as the animals live in a pleasant environment on a thick bed of straw, thus providing manure as a by-product, which is a useful raw material in an environmentally friendly production.

Furthermore, the company also includes repair services and sells products in Avtocenter Ormož, where they provide a service for important brands of tractors (New Holland, Steyr and Case) and farming machinery for the basic handling of feed and for harvesting. In addition to these activities the company has been awarded a concession for the sale of Renault vehicles with all its accompanying and necessary activities.

The real estate agency deals with the purchase, mediation and sale of real estate, furthermore it also deals with the renting of vacant business premises.
